School Caisse

To fulfill its educational mission, Caisse Desjardins du Vieux-Longueuil has supported the financial, economic and social education of young people since 1951 through its school caisse program, which aims to introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age.

The caisse is now partnered with 6 School Caisses: Normandie, Armand-Racicot, Sainte-Claire, Curé-Lequin/St-Jude, Académie internationale Charles-Lemoyne and Petits-Explorateurs.

Is your child under the age of 12? Do you want them to learn how to save? We encourage you to open an account and discover games, videos and exercises to do at home on the School Caisse website - External link. This link opens in a new window..

Youth has always been at the heart of the caisse's concerns and we firmly believe that young people, who will one day make up the society of tomorrow, must have access to education about saving, sound financial management and responsible financial behaviour. We're convinced that learning these principles will help them in their lives today and tomorrow.
