Being a member means having the opportunity to elect the members of your caisse’s board of directors and to vote on how your caisse’s surplus earnings are distributed.

Your caisse’s special general meeting (SGM)

We hold special general meetings so you, our members, can participate in decisions about projects that affect how your caisse operates.  

To help you prepare, one or more information sessions may be held to share key details and answer your questions.

Following the presentation portion of the SGM, you’ll have 4 days to vote online. The voting period ends on June 12, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Voting requirements

To vote, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have been a member of the caisse for at least 90 days before the annual general meeting2
  • Be 18 or older
  • For territory caisses: live, work or have a permanent address in Quebec
  • For group caisses: meet your caisse’s common characteristic criteria3

Even if you’re not eligible to vote, you can still attend your caisse’s meeting.

The annual general meeting (AGM) at a glance

At the AGM, we meet with you, our members, to give you an annual overview of our activities. You can also vote on member dividends and elect board members, if any seats are up for election.
