Running from Lévis to Montréal

On October 18 and 19, 2018, a team of 15 runners—supported by 5 cyclists—will take part in the Second annual Sur le Chemin du Roy race, running a total of 286 kilometres between the Desjardins Campus in Lévis and Complexe Desjardins in Montreal.

The race is happening during Co-op Week, with participants raising money to support educational projects through Desjardins Foundation.

The team features both seasoned runners and newcomers, and it's backed by 40 or so volunteers who are committed to making the event a success.

The veterans

  • Christian Gagnon, Craig Dion, David Vernet, Karine Chabot and Slava Buceatchi

The converts

  • Richard Gauthier (driver and backup runner in 2017)
  • Mélanie Legrand and Caroline Dallaire (cyclists in 2017)

The rookies

  • Jérôme Marquis, Nadine Lavoie, Sophie St-Jean, Vincent Prévost-Cloutier, Patrice Fontaine, Annie Châteauneuf and Christine Lebel

The cyclists
