This free 24/7 service allows you to speak with a nurse confidentially about various health matters.

Get a second opinion from a specialist physician on a diagnosis, treatment plan or surgical procedure for any medical condition—not just the ones covered under your policy.

  • Find specialists in Canada for your medical needs, based on your requirements and geographic preferences.
  • Consult a directory with the contact information for medical specialists and establishments outside Canada for treatment or surgery.
  • Get access to a personal health navigator: A nurse helps you get answers to questions about critical illnesses or any other health matter. This service is available to you, your spouse, your dependent children3 and your extended family (parents, parents-in-law, siblings and siblings-in-law).4

Psycho­logical assistance

In the event of a covered critical illness or loss of independence, you can receive support to help you through a difficult time.

Autonomy assistance

If you experience a temporary or permanent loss of independence, you can receive non-medical home care services to make day-to-day life easier for you and your caregivers.

  • Domestic assistance5: You and your caregivers can get help with supervising a person living alone, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, pet care and other errands.
  • Assistance with daily living5: You can receive hygiene and comfort care, help with morning and evening routines and mobility at home, transportation for medical appointments and companion services for outings.
