How to change your group insurance options
You can change your insurance options if you’ve experienced an eligible life event. After a life event, you have 31 days to inform us and make the updates yourself in your IntelliFlex® online account. After this, you’ll have to ask your plan administrator to change your insurance options.

Log in to the secure site. On the home page, select Your account, then the Enrollment and coverage link.

Don’t have this option? This means your plan doesn’t allow you to change your insurance options online. Contact your plan administrator.
The page that shows your IntelliFlex online file will open. On the Welcome to your online group insurance file page, select the Life Event Change button.

Even without a life event occurring, you can change your insurance options during a plan re-enrollment period.
On the Life Event Change page, enter the date of the life event, then select a type of life event from the list. Select the Next button.
The Disclaimer window appears. Select the I Agree button to continue.
On the Personal Information page, make sure the information is correct, make any necessary updates, then select the Next button.
On the Dependent Information page, read over the information to make sure it’s correct. If it is, select the Next button. If you need to update a dependent’s information, you’ll need to first remove their name from the list, then add it again with the correct information. On the insurance options page, follow the steps to review your coverage and that of your dependents. Select a benefit, then update the insurance options.
If you’re making changes to your life insurance options, select the Beneficiaries button. Look over the information, then adjust the insurance benefit percentages.
When you get to the enrollment summary, review your changes. If you need to make further changes, select the edit button (pencil icon) beside the information you’re updating. Then select the Next button.
Select the checkbox, then the Submit button to finish updating your insurance options.
