Your business credit card statement explained

Starting October 19, 2026, your business credit card statement will have a new look.

The new layout makes important information easier to find and gives you a clearer view of your transactions. Take a look at some of the key features of your new statement.

We’ve redesigned your credit card statement as part of the modernization of our credit card management system.

  • Account summary: see all account transactions in one place.
  • Summary per card: see the total charges for each card.
  • Easily spot the amount due and minimum payment due.
  • Get a breakdown of credit charges and the minimum payment due.
  • See how rewards are calculated.

Understanding your statement

Main account statement

The main account statement provides an overview of all the cards linked to the account. It gives you the information you need to keep track of account activity and make payments.

Due date

This is the date by which Desjardins must receive payment of either the amount due or the minimum payment due.

Amount due (formerly “New regular balance”)

This amount includes any unpaid amounts from previous statements, regular transactions and financing plan installments.

Minimum payment due

This amount includes any monthly Accord D Business financing installments, if applicable.

Regular transaction details

This section shows transactions made directly to the main account, such as certain payments or account fees.

Summary per card

This section shows the total amount charged to each card linked to the account. It provides a quick overview before you look at the detailed transactions for each card.

Business Savings Program

Here’s where you’ll find information about the annual cash back you earn once you reach the required $12,000 minimum. If all amounts shown are $0.00, it means the minimum hasn’t been reached yet.

Account summary

Page 2 of the statement includes the account summary, which lists all transactions made on the main account and the linked cards. It includes the following:

  • Previous total balance
  • Payments and credits
  • Purchases and debits
  • Cash advances
  • Credit charges
  • Amount due for the period
  • Credit charge and minimum payment details

Accord D Business financing transaction details

If you have Accord D Business financing, you’ll find a dedicated section for your plan on a separate page of your statement. The monthly installment is included in the total amount due on the main account.

This section shows the initial amount, term, monthly installment amount and status.

Accord D Business financing transaction summary

This section shows the previous month’s balance, interest fees, new balance and current monthly installment amount.

Statement for linked cards

Your account statement includes a separate transaction statement for each card linked to the account. Each statement lists all transactions made with a specific credit card, making it easier to view and find transactions.

Name and card number

The cardholder’s name and the last 4 digits of the card are shown to help you find the card you’re looking for.

Total transactions

Here's where you can see the total of all regular transactions.

Credit limit

This is the credit limit associated with the card on the statement.

Statements for Visa Business Freedom Solutions packages

If you have a Visa* Business Freedom Solutions package, you’ll also receive a separate statement for your line of credit in addition to your main account statement. Explore the key elements of your Visa Business Freedom Solutions line of credit.

Description of current transactions

This section shows transactions made using your line of credit.

New total balance

This includes your previous total balance, current transactions and credit charges, if applicable.

Minimum payment due

This amount includes any past-due balance. 

Credit limit

This is the credit limit for your line of credit.

Credit charge details

This shows a breakdown of your credit charges.
