Caisse Desjardins du Plateau-Mont-Royal is very enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

School Caisse

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins du Plateau-Mont-Royal supports the educational School Caisse program at schools in the community.

We've updated the School Caisse, and it's now available online!

The School Caisse website has so much to offer:

  • For children: Get initiated to sound money management and learn about cooperative values, all while having fun.
  • For parents: Get access to support to help your child through the process of financial education.
  • For teachers: Be prepared with turnkey educational materials that adheres to the Ministère de l'Éducation's program.

 

Caisse Desjardins du Plateau-Mont-Royal scholarships

True to our commitment to supporting youth, the caisse is proud to encourage young people in the pursuit of a post-secondary education. As such, we've earmarked $15,000 in scholarships for our members who are CEGEP or university students.

Do you believe that you've shown determination during your studies? Then go to the Desjardins Foundation page to apply for a scholarship between March 1 and March 31, 2024.

The caisse's selection committee will review each application. The winners will be invited to an event in the fall of 2024.
