Youth

Caisse Desjardins du Témiscamingue has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why it is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

In addition to donating to Desjardins Foundation, which awards over half a million dollars in scholarships every year, Caisse Desjardins du Témiscamingue played a major part in establishing a local academic retention committee in November 2012. It donated $100,000 to create a fund in support of community initiatives.

The Caisse believes that education is the basis of wealth in a dynamic and prosperous region.

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins du Témiscamingue actively supports the educational school caisse services.

Caisse Desjardins du Témiscamingue is proud to present its 2023 scholarship recipients. Ensuring a bright future for our members is in our values.

In total, 8 students will share $11,000 in scholarships to help them in their studies.
