Caisse Desjardins de Beloeil – Mont-Saint-Hilaire has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why it is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.
For Caisse Desjardins de Beloeil–Mont-Saint-Hilaire, education is the engine of sustainable prosperity. This is why it launched a scholarship program for vocational, CEGEP and university students. The caisse also organizes a volunteer involvement grant program
Since 2005, the scholarship program has provided financial assistance to 1,213 young people and helped them carry out their academic projects and pursue their studies until they graduate. More than $580,000 has been awarded over the past 14 years. Moreover, since 2013, the volunteer involvement grant program has helped 32 young people who are involved in the community. A total of $16,000 has been paid out over the last 6 years.
Caisse Desjardins de Beloeil–Mont-Saint-Hilaire also contributes to Desjardins Foundation, which awarded $874,500 in scholarships this year. Desjardins Foundation supports 130,000 young people through its various programs every year. In 2018, 5 student members of the caisse won Desjardins Foundation scholarships.
In 2018, the caisse took part in the Desjardins Youth Work Experience program, which led to the creation of 8 summer jobs in the area. 8 local youths held summer jobs over a few weeks with local businesses.

To pave the way for new officers, the caisse has been participating for several years now in the Young Intern Officer program. The program gives young people an opportunity to further their studies by actively taking part in Board of Director meetings without voting rights.In 2018, 2 young interns took part in the program.
