The caisse has a help fund that serves to redistribute a portion of the cooperative's surplus earnings to the community. Following a proposal by the Board of Directors, members decide, during the Annual General Meeting, what portion of the surplus earnings will be paid into the help fund. With the help of the caisse, members can support causes that are important to them.

The members who sit on the Board of Directors manage the help fund. Every year, they report on the fund during the Annual General Meeting.

Community Development Fund call for projects

If you have an impactful project that will contribute to community life and help your fellow residents, you may be eligible to receive support from the Caisse Desjardins du Domaine-du-Roy Community Development Fund.

The caisse accepts applications for financial aid twice a year, in April and October, to ensure that they are processed in a fair and equitable manner.

Associations, groups and organizations located in the caisse's territory can apply in response to our Community Development Fund call for projects.

Please note that this procedure applies to requests for $1,000 or more. If you would like to request a smaller amount, the fund allocation committee will consider it separately and reply within 8 weeks.

Special spring 2021 edition: April 1 to April 30, 2021

In light of the current pandemic, we've reviewed and modified the eligibility criteria for this call for projects. We will consider projects that include emergency relief measures for vulnerable clienteles. We will also accept projects that do not directly address COVID-19-related problems but that comply with Public Health guidelines.
