Every year, the Caisse gives out close to $50,000 is donations and sponsorships. Requests are processed all year long.
Fill out the form to make a request. It will be processed within 1 to 2 months.
At the September 2020 special general meeting, members of Caisse Desjardins du Plateau Montcalm agreed to contribute $200,000 to the Community Development Fund (CDF).
In 2019, through the Community Development Fund, the caisse gave $190,472 to the community and earmarked $181,797 for selected future projects. In total, over 40 organizations benefited from financial support to carry out impactful projects in the community.

Working in partnership with Groupe de recherche en animation et planification économique (GRAPE), this community product aims to help people in financial difficulty by offering budget management advisory services and, if needed, a "tide-over" loan.
The average loan amount is $500 and the repayment period is spread over a maximum of 24 months, interest-free.
The caisse is pleased to present its new S'UNIR, un geste coopératif program.
This cooperative program is a special way for members to exercise their democratic power and participate in their caisse’s community life.
When meeting with their advisor, members can choose an organization from a list to which the caisse will donate $10 on their behalf.
This amount is taken from the Community Development Fund.
Members choose an organization when:
Recipient organizations must be members of the caisse and are selected annually on a rotational basis by the Community Development Fund committee, which is composed of officers.

Desjardins Microcredit to Businesses is offered by Desjardins caisses in Eastern Quebec, in partnership with the Fonds d'emprunt Québec. This solidarity product improves access to financing for businesses and marginalized self-employed workers. This product is geared to individuals or groups who are excluded from traditional credit networks, need access to financing and help to carry out their business projects. In the last 12 years, a total of 2,330 jobs were created and maintained.
