History

It was founded by Alphonse Desjardins.

The Caisse Desjardins du Plateau Montcalm was created by the merger of the Bellevue de Québec and Plateau Montcalm caisses in January 2011.

Plateau Montcalm

The Caisse Desjardins du Plateau Montcalm came as a result of the merger of the Belvédère and Saint-Dominique caisses in 2008.

Bellevue de Québec

The Caisse populaire Bellevue de Québec came as a result of the merger of the Saint-Sacrement and Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin caisses in 2000.
