About the caisse

A financial cooperative with deep roots in the community, Caisse Desjardins Pierre-De Saurel has nearly 40,000 members. Each caisse member is also a co-owner of the caisse.

Mission

The mission of Caisse Desjardins Pierre-De Saurel is to:

  • provide all members with quality financial products and services, regardless of the scope of their needs
  • contribute to members’ cooperative, economic and financial education
  • contribute to community development and cooperation

History

Caisse Desjardins Pierre-De Saurel came as a result of the merger of 3 local caisses: Caisse Populaire Riviera, Caisse Desjardins Centre du Bas-Richelieu and Caisse populaire Desjardins Pierre-De Saurel.

With the support of a team committed to providing an excellent member experience, the Caisse provides some 40,000 members throughout the area with quality financial services. It also contributes to the cooperative, economic and financial education of members and actively participates in community development.

Desjardins's history of commitment in the Sorel-Tracy region goes back 75 years.
