Denis Dubois is a graduate of Université Laval and an actuary by training.

Denis joined Desjardins in 2003 in property and casualty insurance, where he was appointed Executive Vice-President in 2016. Since then, he has held several strategic roles, including President and Chief Operating Officer, Desjardins Financial Security, and Executive Vice-President, Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance. Denis played a key role in supporting the sustainable growth of these segments, improving the member and client experience and modernizing IT systems.

Denis has contributed to a number of flagship projects for Desjardins, including the acquisitions of State Farm Canada’s property and casualty and life insurance businesses, the IDC and Worldsource distribution network, Worldsource Insurance network, Worldsource Financial Management and Worldsource Securities. These transactions strengthened Desjardins’s presence across Canada and consolidated our position as a leader in the financial sector.

Denis has a long track record in the Canadian financial sector and has served on a number of boards, including for the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association and the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for Aviso Wealth.
