Youth

Desjardins has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why Caisse populaire Desjardins du Centre-sud gaspésien is so enthusiastic about the concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Scholarship program

In keeping with its cooperative values, the caisse continues to encourage education by awarding 12 scholarships, for a total value of $7,500. In awarding these scholarships, the caisse wishes to encourage students to achieve their goals and to contribute to their academic success. The caisse also contributes to the Desjardins Foundation, which awards more than half a million dollars in scolarships every year.

  • 4 scholarships of $500 at the high school level
  • 2 scholarships of $500 at vocational level
  • 3 scholarships of $750 at the CEGEP level
  • 3 scholarships of $750 at the university level

The application period ran from March 1 to March 31, 2023.

The 2023 winners will be announced during Co-op Week.
