Desjardins has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why Caisse Desjardins de L'île-des-Sœurs–Verdun is so enthusiastic about the concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Your caisse is proud to support the following projects or organizations:

Workshop at École secondaire Mgr Richard	For a few years now, secondary 5 students have been meeting with the youth advisor to talk about sound financial habits.
Young Intern Director	The Board of Directors takes on an intern each year. Will you be the next Young Intern Director? Every year, the caisse takes on a Young Intern Director to sit on its board of directors. Find out about this program

Caisse Desjardins de L'île-des-Sœurs–Verdun also contributes to the Desjardins Foundation, which awards over a half million dollars in scholarships each year.

School caisse

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, the Caisse Desjardins de L'Île-des-Sœurs-Verdun actively supports the educational school caisse services at participating schools in its territory.
