Caisse Desjardins de l'Ouest de la Montérégie is here for our youth through a variety of programs and financial support mechanisms. This is why we're so enthusiastic about the concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

2024 scholarship contest
Enter for a chance to win 1 of 23 scholarships, totalling $23,000:
- 3 scholarships of $1,000 for vocational school students
- 8 scholarships of $1,000 for CEGEP students
- 12 scholarships of $1,000 for university students

School Caisse
In order to introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, the caisse actively supports educational School Caisse services at several local schools.
Participating schools:
- Saint-Isidore/Langevin
- Saint-Urbain

An investment program for our schools
Five caisses in the Montérégie-Ouest region have pledged to invest close to $1 million by 2024 in 76 local schools serving more than 35,000 elementary and high school students.
The caisses of Ouest de la Montérégie, Châteauguay, La Prairie, Moissons-et-de-Roussillon and Seigneuries de la frontière are committed to supporting our youth through this major investment program for all the schools on their respective territories.

Desjardins Foundation Prizes
Desjardins Foundation Prizes are for enthusiastic teachers and school workers who would like to get financial assistance of up to $3,000 to run projects with kindergarten, elementary or high school students. It's a program to support individual classes and groups, not whole schools.
Desjardins Group directors and employees vote to select the winning projects.

Are you between 16 and 25? Do you want to take control of your finances and make sound choices as a consumer, student or worker?
Personal Finance: I'm in Charge® is just what you're looking for. You'll learn more about things that matter to you, such as:
- Consumer choices
- Cellphones
- Education and work
- Budgeting
- Financial services
Thanks to the collaboration of your caisse, free 2-hour group workshops are offered by community partners and educational institutions of the region.
We take a dynamic approach that gets you involved. You'll interact through a variety of hands-on activities and exercises.

Young Intern Director Program
To pave the way for new directors, the caisse participates in the Young Intern Director Program. An internship on the board of directors gives you a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience.
