What is a sector caisse?

Caisse Desjardins des Transports is the only provincial financial institution focused exclusively on serving transportation workers and companies in Quebec.

A financial cooperative with deep roots in the community, the caisse has 18,365 members (who are also its owners) and a business volume of $1.8 billion. On January 1, 2019, Caisse Desjardins des employés de la STM and Caisse Desjardins du Secteur industriel de Montréal merged to form the new Caisse Desjardins des Transports.

With nearly 50 employees working at 3 locations, the caisse is there for its members and offers services that are constantly evolving to better meet their needs.
