In addition to our standard verification measures, we also offer you a voice authentication service, which lets us confirm your identity quickly and safely.

This service, which is available when you call specific advisors, uses biometric voice recognition to prevent others from connecting to your accounts and stealing your identity.

At the caisse or Desjardins Business centre

Desjardins is committed to protecting your privacy. We ask you for your Desjardins Access Card when you make transactions. One piece of valid ID may also be required. Only original, valid ID (no photocopies) will be accepted.

ID and photo documents

  • Valid passport (any country)
  • Valid driver's licence (probationary and learner's permit accepted), issued in Canada
  • Provincial or territorial health card
  • ID card issued by a provincial, federal or foreign government
  • Immigration document (IMMXXXX) issued by the Canadian government
  • Permanent resident card issued by the Canadian government
  • Canadian citizenship card
  • Certificate of Indian Status issued by the Canadian government
  • Nexus card
  • Global Entry card
