At the caisse or Desjardins Business centre

Desjardins is committed to protecting your privacy. We ask you for your Desjardins Access Card when you make transactions. Two pieces of valid ID may also be required. Only original, valid ID (no photocopies) will be accepted.

Valid ID

  1. Valid driver's licence, issued in Canada
  2. Valid passport (any country)
  3. Permanent resident card
  4. Citizenship and Immigration Canada Form IMM-1442 (Refugee Status/Refugee Claimant only)
  5. Provincial health card
  1. Desjardins Access Card (with PIN validation)
  2. Document issued by the Government of Canada
    • Social insurance card
    • Old Age Security ID card
    • Certificate of Canadian citizenship or naturalization
    • Birth certificate
    • Certificate of Indian Status
    • Confirmation of Permanent Residence document
    • Canadian government immigration document (IMM 5292, IMM 1000, IMM 5509 or IMM 1442 with a status other than Refugee Status/Refugee Claimant)
    • Visa (temporary work permit, study permit or temporary resident visa)
  3. Laminated employee ID card bearing photo and signature and:
    • issued by a recognized employer in the community
    • numbered (serial number, employee number or social insurance number)
    • bearing an acceptable expiry date: valid for no more than 5 years from the current date
  4. Student ID card (with photo)
  5. Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) client card with a photo and signature
  6. Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card, issued by a Canadian financial institution, with bearer's signature
