2023 scholarship program

The tenth annual gala was held on Wednesday, October 17, 2023, and a total of $25,000 in scholarships was awarded that night. Once again this year, the Beauce-Centre and Nouvelle-Beauce caisses joined forces to offer 30 scholarships to high school, vocational school, CEGEP and university students.

A hybrid format was chosen for this year's event. All those registered for the scholarship program were able to watch the proceedings online or be present onsite at the Centre Caztel in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce.

All of us at Caisse Desjardins de Beauce-Centre are delighted to present the winners of our 2023 scholarship program! Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients!

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins de Beauce-Centre actively supports educational School Caisse services at 5 schools in the region: d'Youville-Lambert, Sainte-Famille, Louis-Albert-Vachon and Arc-en-ciel.

The School Caisse site has a wide range of activities, videos and games for young people, parents and teachers.

Youth dividends

Youth dividends are meant to encourage young people to save. They're a little reward to help them stay on the right track and keep saving. They also promote good savings habits that lead to financial empowerment.

Youth dividends are paid out to members between the ages of 5 and 17. They introduce young members to the concept of member dividends, a cornerstone of Desjardins's cooperative values.

We pay out $10 if 7 or more deposits are made to their eligible Desjardins everyday account during the reference year. Members between the ages of 12 and 17 are also eligible for an additional $15 dividend if they have a savings account or product.

Youth dividends are then paid in June of the following year.
