AccèsD security measures

Configuring your security settings

The first time you log in to AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires, you'll need to configure your security settings. Important: No email will be sent to you asking you to do this.

Configuring your security settings consists of 2 steps:

  1. Selecting 3 security questions and entering the answers.
  2. Reviewing and confirming your new security settings.

AccèsD and AccèsD Affaires login with settings

When you next log in, enter your Desjardins Access Card number or AccèsD Affaires user code and your password:

If the system detects you are logging in from a new device, you'll be asked to answer one of the security questions you selected when configuring your security settings:

This step helps us confirm your identity. Simply answer the question to access your accounts.

To find out more, see the frequently asked questions about logging in to AccèsD and AccèsD Affaires (FAQ).

If you have any other questions about the login procedure, contact an advisor for AccèsD, AccèsD Affaires (Quebec) or AccèsD Affaires (Ontario).

Secure session management

Every AccèsD online, tablet and mobile session and AccèsD Affaires session is automatically terminated after 15 minutes of inactivity. To log in again, you have to re-enter your username and password.

You should still never leave your computer, tablet or mobile device unattended if you are logged in to AccèsD Internet or AccèsD Affaires. Always log out before leaving your desk, even when you'll only be away for a few minutes.

Using the password

Your AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires password should:

  • Contain between 8 and 128 characters
  • Be different from your last 6 passwords
  • Be hard to guess

Your password can contain one or more uppercase or lowercase letters, numbers or special characters, and it can be made up of multiple words with or without spaces.

Use the advice that appears under the New password field to create a more secure password.

Your password can be used to log in from a computer, tablet or mobile device. It cannot be used to log in by phone.

AccèsD Telephone password

AccèsD Telephone passwords are 3 digits long.

If you already have an AccèsD Telephone password, you can continue using it.

To get an AccèsD Telephone password or to change an existing one, call 514-CAISSES (514-224-7737) or 1-800 CAISSES (1-800-224-7737) if you're calling from outside the Montreal area.

Password and PIN

Your password is different from your Desjardins Access Card PIN (personal identification number), which is composed of 5 digits and is used only for ATM and direct payment (debit card) transactions.
