The AccèsD and AccèsD Affaires log-in procedure has been designed to meet the highest possible information security standards, allowing you to make your transactions in complete security.

Configuring your security settings

The first time you log in to AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires, you'll be asked to configure your security settings. Important: No email will be forwarded to you asking you to do this.

Configuring your security settings consists of 3 steps:

  1. Creating a personal phrase and memorizing a personal image.
  2. Selecting 3 security questions and entering the answers.
  3. Reviewing and confirming your new security settings.

By doing this, you protect your personal information by ensuring you are connected to the genuine AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires site.

AccèsD and AccèsD Affaires log-in with settings

When you next log in and enter your username—Desjardins Access Card number or AccèsD Affaires user code—the system will display your personal phrase and image:

Your personal phrase and image displayed confirm that you are on the genuine AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires site. Never enter your password if either of these elements is missing!

If the system detects you are logging in from a new device, you'll be asked to answer the security question you selected when configuring your security settings:

This step confirms your identity. Simply answer the question to access your accounts.

If you have any other questions about the log-in procedure, contact a service advisor for AccèsD, AccèsD Affaires (Quebec) or AccèsD Affaires (Ontario).

Secure session management

Every AccèsD online, tablet and mobile session and AccèsD Affaires session is automatically terminated after 15 minutes of inactivity. To log in again, you have to re-enter your username and password.

Despite this, don't leave your computer, tablet or mobile device unattended if you are logged in to AccèsD Internet or AccèsD Affaires. Always log out before leaving your desk, even when you'll only be away for a few minutes.

Using the password

Your AccèsD or AccèsD Affaires password must be made up of 10 to 128 characters (letters and numbers) with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. It must be different from your last 6 passwords and be hard to guess.

Your password can be used to log in from a computer, tablet or mobile device. It cannot be used to log in by phone.

Password and PIN

Your password is different from your Desjardins Access Card PIN (personal identification number), which is composed of 5 digits and used for ATM and direct payment (debit card) transactions.
