Desjardins Microcredit to Businesses

Desjardins Microcredit to Businesses

Help for entrepreneurs seeking support and financing

The program supports entrepreneurs and self-employed workers ages 18 and up (no age limit) by providing:

  • access to financing
  • technical support and a customized approach

How it works

  1. 1

Present your business plan to your local partner community credit organization.

An advisor will help you draw up and analyze your business plan and direct you to the resources you need.

Need help drawing up your business plan?
  2. 2

If your business plan is viable but your personal investment and guarantees aren't sufficient to get you conventional financing, your plan may be forwarded to a loan committee for approval.

Financing obtained through the Desjardins Microcredit to Businesses program can be considered as a personal investment to help you qualify for other sources of financing.
