Professional experience

Denis Latulippe is a trained actuary (FCIA) with an MBA in Health Insurance and a master's degree in social policy (pensions) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a professor at Université Laval's School of Actuarial Science and an Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC). Denis worked for close to 20 years at the United Nations as a senior actuary and advisor for an intervention-consulting initiative with various governments worldwide. He was chief actuary of an insurance company for 6 years, then served as its vice-president of customer service, IT and finance from 2007 to 2012. Prior to his appointment, he sat on the Desjardins Financial Security Board of Directors and on its Audit, Risk and Investment Committees for 2 years. He was a director of Optimum Life Reinsurance Inc. from 2013 to 2019.
