Youth

Desjardins has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why Caisse populaire Desjardins de l’Est de Drummond is so enthusiastic about the concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Scholarship program

For several years now, the caisse has offered a scholarship program to its young members.

Changes in 2023

We're increasing the total amount awarded to $15,000, divided among 21 scholarships:

  • 2 scholarships of $500 for vocational school students
  • 9 scholarships of $500 for CEGEP students
  • 9 scholarships of $1,000 for university students
  • 1 scholarship of $500 for a student who's going back to school (New!)

The caisse's student members can apply for our scholarship program and other Desjardins scholarships on the Desjardins scholarship platform. This way, you'll increase your chances of winning a scholarship.
