We heard you!
From January 24 to February 6, 2022, Caisse Desjardins des Grands Boulevards de Laval invited our members to answer a survey to let us know what they think about the caisse's community involvement.
Based on the survey's results, we were pleased to learn that the caisse's current priorities match those of its members.
The top 3 priorities are:
- Social and community support
- Academic success and training
- Health and healthy living
The survey also allowed us to identify which groups its members think should be given priority for financial assistance from the caisse's support programs. Here are the results:
- People facing financial hardship
- Youth
- Young families
- Seniors
- Newcomers
Your valuable comments will allow the caisse to:
- Reflect on our investment priorities
- Consolidate our activities in line with the needs of our members and local organizations
- Pursue our cooperative mission in the community
- Maintain close ties with partners and local organizations
- Communicate with members on an ongoing basis about the caisse's community involvement

Did you know?
In 2021, we contributed $280,000 to the Community Development Fund (CDF).
The CDF is funded by community dividends after they're approved at the annual
general meeting. It allows the caisse to support long-term community
initiatives, in partnership with local organizations. It's our way of enriching
the lives of people and communities.
