The Caisse Desjardins des Grands boulevards de Laval actively supports the school caisse at the following schools: Simon-Vanier, Socrates-Démosthène (Démosthène campus), Léon-Guilbault, Marcel-Vaillancourt and Saint-Gilles.
The caisse has a help fund that serves to redistribute a portion of the cooperative's surplus earnings to the community. Following a proposal by the Board of Directors, members decide, during the Annual General Meeting, what portion of the surplus earnings will be paid into the help fund. With the help of their caisse, members can support causes that are important to them.
The members who sit on the Board of Directors manage the help fund. Every year, they report on the fund during the Annual General Meeting.

The Caisse des Grands boulevards de Laval was on hand to award prizes to the Ligue d'improvisation de la Rencontre Théâtre Ados (LIRTA) competition, where dynamic young people vied for the prestigious Coupe Champlain trophy.

The "Confidences d'enfants" letter program at the Maison des enfants Le Dauphin de Laval gives Laval students the opportunity to write letters to express their happiness or sorrow. The children are guaranteed a personalized and confidential, along with a hand-drawn picture. Mailboxes are posted in participating schools and the team at the Maison des enfants collects and delivers the letters each week.
The Maison des jeunes du Centre communautaire Val-Martin organizes activities that give young people the chance to use their talents and social, sports and cultural strengths to develop their self-esteem and confidence. The Caisse is proud to have been supporting Maison des jeunes du Centre communautaire for the past 7 years.
The "Pareil, pas pareil" program, organized in collaboration with École Gadbois and École Charles-Perrault, was set up to give physically disabled children the opportunity do activities with healthy children. The children enjoy the chance to share experiences while becoming aware of their differences and forging special friendships!
A recording studio was inaugurated at Maison des jeunes du Marigot. Supported by the Caisse, the project aims to introduce young people to music performance to help keep them off the street.
