- June 19, 1938: The first caisse populaire is founded on
the Islands, the Caisse populaire de LaVernière.
- July 2, 1939: Caisse populaire de Bassin is founded.
- July 26, 1939: Caisse populaire de Grande-Entrée is
founded.
- May 26, 1940: Caisse de Havre-Aubert is founded.
- October 23, 1949: Caisse populaire Desjardins de Fatima is
founded.
- 1976: The Cap-aux-Meules service counter is
inaugurated.
- April 19, 1986: Caisse populaire de Grande-Entrée
officially merges with Caisse populaire de Lavernière.
- December 17, 1987: The first ATM is installed on the
Islands.
- 2000: The Caisses de Bassin, Havre-Aubert and La
Vernière merge and become Caisse populaire Desjardins de
Lavernière-Bassin-Havre-Aubert. The name Caisse populaire Desjardins des
Ramées becomes official a short time later.
- August 2005: The l'Île du Havre-Aubert Service
Centre opens following the merger of the Havre-Aubert and Bassin service
centres.
- January 1, 2015: Merger of Caisse populaire Desjardins des
Ramées and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Fatima. The name of the new
caisse remains Caisse populaire Desjardins des Ramées.
