Pay in installments

Pay in installments

Thanks to a new option on your Desjardins Visa* credit card, you can now pay for purchases of $200 or more in equal, interest-free monthly installments at participating merchants.

Pay for your purchase in smaller equal payments

Paying in installments is an option available at participating merchants that lets you pay for your purchase over time through a monthly installment plan.

  • Interest-free**

  • Purchases of $200 or more

  • Equal monthly payments

  • 3- to 48-month installment plans

** If you make your minimum credit card payment on time

How it works

You must have a sufficient Accord D credit limit to be able to pay in installments with your Desjardins Visa credit card.

When you make a purchase of $200 or more, you can choose an installment plan from the available options. Merchants can offer terms of 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 months. Each installment is a monthly payment added to the minimum payment due on your credit card statement. If you don't want to pay in installments, you can pay for the purchase in full as usual.

Some useful information

Interest-free

You won't be charged any interest on your installment payments if you pay the minimum amount by the due date on your credit card statement. Otherwise, your card's interest rate will apply to the monthly payment.

Removing the option

You can remove the option to pay in installments from your card without penalty by calling the number on the back of your Desjardins Visa credit card.

No BONUSDOLLARS or cash back

You won't earn any BONUSDOLLARS® or cash back when you pay in installments. You can't use BONUSDOLLARS to pay your installments.
