Youth Fusion and the Desjardins Foundation support 490 young entrepreneurs in Canada

Every year, with support from the Desjardins Foundation, Youth Fusion works to keep kids in school with a focus on entrepreneurial education projects in elementary and high schools in Ontario and Quebec. The projects are easily integrated into the curriculum and allow young people to learn about the steps involved in building a business.

This year, 490 young entrepreneurs in elementary and high school received support from Youth Fusion to help them launch and develop their small business projects.

Applying core subjects

These projects not only help to motivate young people, they're also a way of applying what they've learned in their core subjects. English and French are useful when creating business plans and written communications; math is essential for financial modelling, etc.

We're very proud to help guide these 490 budding entrepreneurs and wish them all the best in their entrepreneurial projects.
