A safe, comforting place for troubled young people experiencing homelessness

These shelters are spread across 10 administrative regions in Quebec, serving young people ages 1235 who are at risk of becoming homeless. Staying at an Auberges du cur gives these young people hope of finding a way forward. The Auberges and their staff play a vital role in opening the door to a brighter future.

Emotional visits for Friends of the Desjardins Foundation

A small group of Friends of the Desjardins Foundation had the opportunity to witness just how much of an impact their donations have had on the lives of these young people. We invited them to come and meet with residents of the shelters in Laval and Sainte-Foy in Quebec City. All agreed that, although it was a very emotional, the time spent with young people and staff confirmed what a remarkable job this organization does.
