Desjardins has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why Caisse Desjardins de Saint-Eustache–Deux-Montagnes is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Caisse employees treat young people with consideration and trust. This is why the Caisse provides them with authorized withdrawals adjusted to their income, to help them with transactions when depositing their paycheques.

Knowledge and information

The Caisse team takes informing young people about money management and proper use of credit to heart. The Caisse offers the school caisse program to schools in the area. School caisse makes it easy for children to save systematically. At the end of the school year, each student receives a youth dividend based on the number of deposits made throughout the year. Every year, nearly $1,000 is paid out in youth dividends to elementary school savers.

The Caisse Desjardins de Saint-Eustache-Deux-Montagnes also contributes to Fondation Desjardins, which, over the last 40 years, has given out $12 million to some 9,300 young people.

Finally, since 2009, the Caisse has organized the "Coup de pouce pour l'avenir" contest for student members of all post-secondary levels. The scholarship program encourages the academic success of local youth.
