Desjardins Foundation Prizes: More than $150,000 to help youth succeed in school

Desjardins awarded more than $150,000 to help teachers and educators set up 56 innovative and stimulating projects, which will benefit more than 11,510 students of the Centre de services scolaire des Hautes-Rivières (CSSDHR).

We held an event celebrating the recipients' commitment to their students' well-being and academic success at Érablière Charbonneau. Caisse and governing board members as well as CSSDHR representatives attended to celebrate the passion, dedication and creativity of those who submitted their projects in October 2023, despite the expected public sector strike.

Desjardins is proud to support these important projects. "Education is a key pillar and we invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into it each year. We know that it plays a crucial role in the development and growth of our community. These prizes reflect our commitment to helping our youth succeed," said Éric Lafrenière, General Manager, Caisse Desjardins de Rouville.
