Among others, Desjardins is committed to:

reducing work-related travel and gas consumption;
encouraging ethical purchasing and community-supported agriculture;
increasing the consumption of certified fair-trade coffee;
making more environmentally responsible buildings and equipment;
redistributing surplus food;
encouraging employee social involvement.
