Among others, Desjardins is committed to:

• reducing work-related travel and gas consumption;
• encouraging ethical purchasing and community-supported agriculture;
• increasing the consumption of certified fair-trade coffee;
• making more environmentally responsible buildings and equipment;
• redistributing surplus food;
• encouraging employee social involvement.
