Guide for a Green Office

Why a Green Office?

To use paper more responsibly in the workplace.

After having launched the Desjardins Paper Challenge, an operation that aims to reduce the paper consumption of all its employees by 15%, Desjardins is now providing the Guide for a Green Office for all its members, both individuals and businesses.

Goal: to reduce paper consumption in the workplace by 15%. This approach will decrease waste and reduce our ecological footprint1.

1. An ecological footprint measures the pressure man exerts on nature. It is a tool that assesses how much land and water area a human population needs to produce the resources required to sustain itself and to absorb its wastes. A footprint that exceeds Earth's absorption capacity indicates a non-sustainable rate of consumption.
