About the caisse

A financial cooperative with deep roots in the community, Caisse populaire Desjardins du Piémont Laurentien has 30,510 members. Each caisse member is also a co-owner of the caisse.

In 2015, your caisse posted excellent financial results with surplus earnings of $3.7 million. With a business volume of $1.55 billion, the Caisse is extremely well-positioned in its market.

Driven by its mission, the Caisse continued to support various important community projects through the Community Development Fund and donations and sponsorships. More than $175,000 was awarded to the community in 2015 to support projects in Ancienne-Lorette, Val-Bélair and Shannon.
