On January 1, 2019, Caisse d'économie Desjardins des Mines, métaux et services publics (Côte-Nord) and Caisse d'économie Desjardins des employés d'Alcoa-Manic-McCormick merged. The merger resulted in a new caisse.
A caisse must be active for a year before holding a general meeting and reporting its financial results. Therefore, there won’t be an annual general meeting this year, but one will be held in April 2020.
The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity to share your opinion on how to use caisse surplus earnings, vote for the adoption or modification of by-laws and elect officers to sit on the board of directors.
