As a caisse member, you can apply to be elected as a director, express your point of view by participating in the annual general meeting and elect the people who will represent you on the board of directors.
On January 1, 2019, Caisse Desjardins de Montmagny, Caisse Desjardins de la Rivière du Sud et Berthier-sur-Mer and Caisse populaire Desjardins du Parc régional des Appalaches merged. The merger resulted in a new caisse.
A caisse must be active for a year before holding a general meeting and reporting its financial results. Therefore, there won’t be an annual general meeting this year, but one will be held in April 2020.
