Created in 1971, the Saint-Sulpice community garden now boasts 259 garden plots, including 16 specially designed for people with reduced mobility.
In 2014 Caisse Desjardins d'Ahuntsic was delighted to contribute financially to this little urban oasis that welcomes people of all ages and from all walks of life.
The community garden used the funds to make improvements to its irrigation system, replace certain worn-out tools and produce a number of illustrated educational pamphlets on gardening.
The Domaine Saint-Sulpice community garden is also committed to giving back to the community by donating part of its harvest to organizations such as La Popote Roulante and Service de Nutrition et d'Action Communautaire (SNAC).
The Caisse is delighted to have contributed to the bounty of the 2014 gardening season and wishes all the community's green thumbs a great 2015 growing season!
