Climbing Kilimandjaro: $114,300 collected for Desjardins Foundation

A total of 12 Desjardins colleagues, including our general manager Richard Georges, climbed Mount Kilimandjaro in support of 2 causes they hold dear: youth education by Desjardins Foundation and our historical heritage by Château Ramezay. They collected $164,300, including $114,300 for Desjardins Foundation. This amount will help finance motivating projects for 40 schools in Quebec, thanks to #DesjardinsFoundation Prizes.

This achievement shows the strength of Desjardins employees’ commitment to our youth. The entire Caisse Desjardins du Centre-nord de Montréal team is honoured to have supported the climbers in the philanthropic aspect of their challenge.

Congratulations to the climbers to have successfully met this challenge! We thank you on behalf of all the young people who will take part in the projects you helped fund.
