Caisse Desjardins de la Vallée des Pays-d'en-Haut is looking to fill a young intern director position.
The Young Intern Director program allows members between the ages of 18 and 30 to contribute to the development of their financial cooperative by sitting on the board of directors. They actively participate in board meetings, but don't have voting rights. It's more than an apprenticeship. It's community engagement experience.
The program gives young intern directors the opportunity to represent their community and embody cooperative values in their role. This involvement enables them to learn new professional and personal skills. By participating in outreach activities and democratic events, they're able to build their network of contacts and use their influence and leadership skills. Sitting on a board of directors is definitely a high value-added experience in a professional career.
