Youth

Caisse Desjardins du Haut-Richelieu has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why it is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Desjardins Youth Offer

In addition to offering financial products designed especially for young members, the Caisse also makes available to them the expert services of a youth advisor. Entirely dedicated to young people 18 to 35, our advisors provide them with a personalized advisory approach to help them achieve their dreams and projects.

Scholarships – A financial boost for local students

In addition to encouraging kids to stay in school, the caisse contributes to various scholarship programs. Students can apply on the Desjardins Foundation site - External link. This link will open in a new window.. The call for applications takes place every year between March 1 and 31. That single application gives local students access to several scholarship programs (Desjardins Foundation scholarships, the caisse's scholarship program, other scholarships, etc.).

Caisse du Haut-Richelieu 2020 scholarship program

The caisse is increasing the amount awarded in scholarships. This year, a total of $100,000 will be invested in scholarships. All full-time, post-secondary students who are 34 or under and caisse members are invited to submit their application. Scholarship recipients will be determined by random draw among eligible applicants in the fall of 2020.

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins du Haut-Richelieu actively supports the educational school caisse services at École Vision.

Your child doesn't attend that school, but you wish to help them learn more about savings? Discover some fun games, video and activities to do at home on the school caisse website - External link. This link will open in a new window..
