To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins de la Vallée d'Acton actively supports the educational school caisse services at the following schools: Notre-Dame (Sainte-Christine), Roger-Labrèque (Acton Vale), Saint-André (Acton Vale), La Croisée (Upton), Saint-Jean-Baptiste (Roxton Falls), Saint-Pierre (Saint Valérien), Saint-Nazaire and Plein-Soleil (Sainte-Hélène-de-Bagot).
The caisse also mentors the polyvalente Robert-Ouimet (Acton Vale) student caisse (now called the Finance Lab). The Finance Lab is an educational project that helps high school students learn about managing a mini-caisse.
To pave the way for new officers, the caisse takes part in the Young Intern Director Program. An internship on the Board of Directors gives you a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience.
