School caisse

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse du Cœur-des-vallées supports the educational school caisse services at the following schools:

  • École Sacré-Cœur
  • École St-Laurent
  • École Monseigneur Charbonneau
  • École Du ruisseau
  • École St-Jean de Brébeuf
  • École aux Quatre-vents

Desjardins Youth Work Experience Program

This program is aimed at young people who are looking for their first job. A salary subsidy is distributed to employers willing to hire young people ages 16 to 18 to offer their first working experience.

Youth eligibility criteria

  • Be between the ages of 16 and 18 and available for a summer job.
  • Be ready to live a first work experience or discover a new field.
  • Be a member of Caisse Desjardins du Cœur-des-vallées.

Advantages for employers

  • Salary subsidy of 50% of the minimum wage, up to 180 hours.
  • Work hours distributed as needed from May to September.

Each year, Caisse du Cœur-des-vallées contributes to Desjardins Foundation, which awards over half a million dollars in scholarships annually to encourage academic perseverance and merit.
