Caisse Desjardins du Vieux-Longueuil has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why it is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

To fulfill its educational mission, Caisse Desjardins du Vieux-Longueuil has supported the financial, economic and social education of young people since 1951 through its school caisse program, which aims to introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age.
The caisse is now partnered with 4 school caisses: de Normandie, Armand-Racicot, Sainte-Claire and Curé-Lequin/St-Jude.
Is your child a student at one of these schools? Do you want them to learn how to save? We encourage you to open an account and discover games, videos and exercises to do at home at www.caissescolaire.com - External link. This link will open in a new window..
The caisse has also been mentoring the école secondaire Jacques-Rousseau student caisse for more than 25 years. The student caisse is an educational project that helps high school students learn about managing a mini-caisse.
Youth has always been at the heart of the caisse's concerns and we firmly believe that young people, who will one day make up the society of tomorrow, must have access to education about saving, sound financial management and responsible financial behaviour. We're convinced that learning these principles will help them in their lives today and tomorrow.
Caisse Desjardins du Vieux-Longueuil also contributes to Desjardins Foundation, which encourages and supports the education, dreams and ambitions of the next generation.
