Youth

Caisse Desjardins de Mercier-Est–Anjou has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why it is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Desjardins Foundation scholarships

Caisse populaire Desjardins d'Anjou also contributes to Desjardins Foundation, which awards over a half million dollars in scholarships each year. Desjardins Foundation allows a great number of youth to access technical, vocational or higher education. It rewards excellence and encourages students to persevere until they receive their diploma. In the last 40 years, it has distributed $12 million to close to 9,300 young people. Learn more about Desjardins Foundation scholarships.

School caisse

With a view to introducing children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse Desjardins de Mercier-Est–Anjou actively supports the educational school caisse service at local schools.

Youth dividends

Young members receive a $10 dividend if they made at least 7 deposits to their school caisse account. This is a great way to recognize their efforts and encourage their sense of responsibility.
