School caisse

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, Caisse populaire Desjardins de Cap-Rouge–Saint-Augustin actively supports the educational school caisse services at the following schools: L'Arbrisseau, Les Bocages, Marguerite-d'Youville, Les Pionniers and Les Sources.

The program offers many benefits:

• No administration fees
• Higher interest rate than regular savings account
• No minimum deposit
• Interest calculated daily and paid monthly
• Deposits made at school (withdrawals at the caisse only)
• Weekly draws of $5 during the school year among depositors
• Dividends paid to regular depositors
• And much more

Youth committee

Are you looking to add outstanding experience to your resumé, benefit from a high-quality program or simply be part of Canada's largest financial cooperative? If you're between the ages of 18 and 35, you can sit on the caisse's youth committee (7 members maximum).

The youth committee organizes several activities every year:

• A scholarship program
• Happening jeunesse – a comedy show to celebrate caisse members' 18th birthdays

Personal Finance: I'm in Charge™

A program tailored to young people aged 16 to 25 who want to take charge of their finances and make the right choices as a consumer, student or young worker.

The program includes 16 modules on topics that directly affect young people:

• Buying choices
• Mobile phones
• Education and employment
• Budgeting
• Financial services
