Caisse Desjardins du Lac-Memphrémagog is a cooperative financial institution with deep roots in the local community. It is driven by a culture of respect towards and solidarity with its members as well as with its officers and employees.

The Caisse's mission is to be an innovative and effective cooperative financial partner that is present at each life stage of members and is actively involved in the well-being of the community it serves.

Today's Caisse Desjardins du Lac-Memphrémagog is the result of the merger of the St-Patrice de Magog, Eastman, Mansonville, Magog-Est, Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley and Stanstead caisses in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2010 and 2013.

Caisse populaire Desjardins de Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley was founded in 1913, the Eastman caisse in 1934, the Mansonville caisse in 1935, the Stanstead caisse in 1937 and the Magog-Est and St-Patrice de Magog caisses were both founded in 1940.

Caisse Desjardins du Lac-Memphrémagog was created as a result of the merger of the following caisses:

  • Caisse Desjardins de Stanstead, founded February 1, 1937: it merged with Caisse populaire Desjardins de Beebe and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Rock Island on January 1, 2001
  • Caisse populaire de Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley, founded December 7, 1913
  • Caisse populaire d'Eastman, founded October 15, 1934
The caisse merged with Caisse populaire St-Étienne de Bolton on November 5, 1975
  • Caisse populaire Desjardins de Mansonville, founded November 1, 1935
  • Caisse populaire de Magog Est, founded February 6, 1940
  • Caisse populaire Desjardins Saint-Patrice de Magog, founded June 2, 1940

Today, the Caisse has maintained service centres in Eastman, Mansonville, Magog and Stanstead.
