The Caisse Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for members to democratically elect officers and to have a say in how economic development is managed. This leads to long-term prosperity.

Through the Annual General Meeting, your caisse calls on you. It gives you the opportunity to participate in a variety of consultations such as how surplus earnings should be allocated. It also gives you the opportunity to exercise your right to vote to adopt or amend caisse by-laws and elect the officers who sit on the Board of Directors and Board of Supervision.

The last Annual General Meeting of the Caisse Desjardins des Verts-Sommets de l'Estrie was held on April 25, 2017, and was attended by 144 people. The Caisse's balance sheet and financial results were presented to members. The Board of Directors and Board of Supervision both reported to the annual meeting.

Members approved the plan recommended by the Board of Directors to pay out over $1.3 million in individual and collective member dividends.

Elections were also held at this meeting.
