  • Provide all of our members, regardless of the extent of their needs, with tailored access to quality financial services by giving them concrete financial advantages and considerate service.
  • Contribute to the cooperative, economic and financial education of members.
  • Contribute to community development and cooperation.

Caisses have different goals than other financial institutions. For them, profitability only makes sense if it allows them to protect the interest of member and provide them with better services.

The Caisse promotes values such as equality and solidarity, while giving individuals and communities the means to take control of their financial affairs and become more independent.

Caisse Desjardins de Bois-Franc—Bordeaux—Cartierville was established on January 1, 2013, following the merger of Caisse populaire Saint-Joseph-de-Bordeaux and Caisse populaire de Bois-Franc— Cartierville. The latter caisse was founded in 2002 following the merger of Caisse populaire Desjardins de Cartierville (founded 1955), Caisse populaire Desjardins de Sainte-Odile de Montréal (founded in 1958) and Caisse populaire Desjardins Bois-Franc de Saint-Laurent (founded in 1955).

Despite being new, it already has a considerable past. The 2 original caisses worked together for many years to reach common objectives and, in large part, share the same history. The new caisse is therefore considered to have been in existence even before it was founded, and is already known and recognized as an indispensable partner to local residents, businesses and organizations.

We are committed to offering our members customized service and to providing them with the very best Desjardins experience possible. Welcome to your caisse!
