The Community Development Fund serves to redistribute a portion of the cooperative's surplus earnings to the community. Following a proposal by the board of directors, during the annual general meeting, members decide what portion of the surplus earnings will be paid into the community fund. Through their caisse, members can support causes that are important to them.
Members who sit on the board of directors manage the community fund. Every year, they report on the fund at the annual general meeting.

The Caisse has always been involved with various projects in local schools and supported their sports and cultural activities, in addition to offering scholarships to high school students.
Nomadic and unique, the Festival International des Hautes-Laurentides travels throughout the wonderful Laurentians region where spectators can attend symphony, opera and instrumental classical concerts as well as shows by famous artists of the pop, jazz, country, electronic and world music scenes.
The goal of Fondation du Centre hospitalier des Laurentides et Centre de réadaptation des Hautes-Vallées is to develop a real partnership with Hautes-Laurentides communities in order to provide medical personnel with the tools they require to provide better health care and adequate health services to residents.
The Caisse is proud to give financial support to youth centres in the region to help them continue to be a dynamic place where young people 12 to 18 can meet and, through contact with significant adult models, become critical, active and responsible citizens.
